LAS VEGAS—Healthier Choice Flooring, LLC will launch a new line of stainable flexible transition moldings, called Flexitions, at Surfaces 2011 in Las Vegas. The event will be held January 25 to 27. The company will also display its line of “green” cushions and underlayments which includes premium products for residential, commercial and hospitality markets.

Flexitions is the solution to installation headaches when dealing with a curve, arch or radius. Available in t-molding, threshold, reducer, stair nose and quarter round profiles, Flexitions can be stained and finished to match and or coordinate floor coverings such as wood, laminate, tile, vinyl, stone and more. Flexitions takes stain just like natural wood and is available in three natural wood grains and textures making for a more natural look and feel when stained and finished. Flexitions is also available in standard factory applied colors. Called Flexitions Fifteen, these standard colors coordinate with the majority of wood flooring sold today.

Healthier Choice Premium Carpet Cushion and acoustical underlayments are manufactured in a zero-landfill facility and are made with more than 50 percent natural resources, including soybean oil, which lessens dependence on petrochemicals and reduces global warming emissions. Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial is incorporated throughout the products to prevent the growth of odor and stain causing mold, mildew and bacteria. MoistureBloc foam allows cushions to act like a breathable spill-proof moisture barrier that is impervious to liquid spills while allowing vapor from beneath to escape and evaporate.

In addition to being CRI Green Label certified, they are the only cushions and underlayments that are GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified, an assurance of the lowest VOCs in the industry. The combination of innovative green features and performance and durability allow these products to contribute to multiple LEED credits.
