DALLAS—VingCard Elsafe, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, has launched a new combined corporate website. The newly designed site is meant to replace the current individual sites for the company’s brands, which include VingCard, Elsafe, Orion and Polarbar.

VingCard Elsafe is a leader in developing locking systems and electronic in-room safes for the hospitality industry, offering security systems that meet the operational needs of hotels and resorts. Additional product lines include Orion energy management systems and Polarbar minibar systems, which are offered in selected regions of the world.

This newly launched VingCard Elsafe website unifies the company’s comprehensive hospitality product range into one single entity. The visual identity on the site more closely aligns VingCard Elsafe with its parent company, ASSA ABLOY, and creates a more unified brand identity for the group companies worldwide. The site offers interactive functionality in the form of videos, interactive applications, and better and more intuitive navigation for the visitor.

Four Languages Available

Due to VingCard Elsafe’s global presence, the site was designed to effectively communicate with customers and prospects in all regions of the world, allowing the user to select their own continent, and choose from four languages including English, Spanish, French, and German.

In keeping with new media communication technology that has revolutionized not only the travel industry, but the entire world in recent years, the new site also incorporates integrated social media tools that allow users to easily share content from the site on other sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Blogger and Google Buzz.

“Our goal in developing this website was not only to create an interactive tool that allows our clients and prospects to easily find the information they’re looking for, but also allows them to easily communicate that information to their peers and colleagues,” said Tim Shea, president of ASSA ABLOY Hospitality worldwide. “Overall, we have created a better user experience for our customers, no matter where in the world they happen to be. We wanted the customer experience on the site to mirror that of the organization as a whole, which is to provide the best possible service in the most efficient manner.”
