Protect-A-Bed Adds Directors of Business Development

CHICAGO—Linda Bill and Vicki McMullan have been added to the growing hospitality division as directors of business development at Protect-A-Bed, a provider of bedding protection products. In their positions, Bill and McMullan will focus on growing relationships with current Protect-A-Bed customers and forging new relationships with prospective clients across the United States.

Bill is handling Protect-A-Bed’s Western Region (Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming). McMullan is covering Protect-A-Bed’s Northeast Region (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, and Vermont).

Bill and McMullan will be focused on making Protect-A-Bed’s products brand standards at major corporate hotel groups. They will also support Protect-A-Bed’s current hospitality client base, including the company’s network of hospitality distributor representatives.

More Than 16 Years Experience

Prior to joining Protect-A-Bed, Bill served in a variety of sales and marketing roles in both domestic and international markets. Bill has more than 16 years experience in exceeding sales quotas and developing sales territories. Bill’s previous employers include Marietta Corp., and Pacific Direct, a U.K.-based bath and beauty company. Bill is a graduate of Fordham University.

McMullan has extensive sales experience and a history of success in highly competitive markets. She worked for Marietta Corp. for 15 years where she was recognized as a leader who specialized in designing, manufacturing, packaging, marketing and distributing of personal care products to the hospitality industry. McMullan is a graduate of California State University (Fullerton).

Protect-A-Bed offers an entire line of protection products for pillows and mattresses for the hospitality industry, focusing on helping hoteliers with sustainability and bed bug protection. Protect-A-Bed’s team also works closely with those on the front line in protecting their bedding furniture in the war against bed bugs.
