ST. JOSEPH, MICH.—Maytag Commercial Laundry recently welcomed five new team members—Kevin Steinbraker, senior marketing manager and product business team leader; Chris Brick, regional sales manager; Ben Hopkins, product development manager; Bryan Rausch, regional sales manager; and Brian Nilsson, field service manager.

“In an effort to best serve our customers, we’ve recently expanded the breadth and experience of our team,” said Bob English, general manager at Maytag Commercial Laundry. “With a combined 60 years of industry-related experience, our five new team members make us better poised to support our customers in all facets—new product development, service and selling.”

Kevin Steinbraker brings with him a demonstrated record of developing and executing strategies for growth and improved profitability throughout his nine-year tenure with Whirlpool Corp. In his new position, Steinbraker is responsible for profit-and-loss performance, product development, marketing, advertising and strategy development.

With 12 years of commercial laundry experience, Chris Brick has an extensive background in coin and OPL sales. In his 10 years of working for Maytag Commercial Laundry distributors, he opened more than 35 coin stores and developed many sales tools still used by those distributors today.

Hopkins to Focus on New Product Development

Ben Hopkins’ new responsibilities include new product development, where he brings a strong focus on embedding trade partner insights with the management of existing product performance and quality. Hopkins has applicable experience as a result of spending the majority of his 10-year career with Whirlpool Corp. in the laundry division. While there, he led projects within the household laundry technology organization—most notably, the launch of a high efficiency top-load platform to Whirlpool Corp.’s international markets. Most recently, Ben led the development of Kenmore-branded products for Whirlpool Corp.’s Sales to Sears team.

After a six-year hiatus, Bryan Rausch rejoined the Maytag Commercial Laundry team earlier this year. More than 13 years in the commercial laundry industry, Rausch has gained extensive experience working with coin-op, OPL distributors and route operators throughout the United States and Canada. He has also provided financing support for distributors and their customers.

As the new field service manager, Brian Nilsson will serve Maytag Commercial Laundry’s customer base in the eastern third of the United States. Though new to the company, Nilsson has been involved with Maytag Commercial Laundry distributors for more than 15 years. For the past decade, he has served as corporate technical training manager for Mac-Gray, Maytag Commercial Laundry’s largest customer. He brings with him a broad knowledge of Maytag Commercial Laundry’s full line of products.
