Lavelle Named Key Accounts Manager at Protect-A-Bed

CHICAGO—Timothy Lavelle has been named the new northeast region key account manager for Protect-A-Bed’s hospitality division. In his position, Lavelle is focusing on growing relationships with current Protect-A-Bed customers and forging new relationships with prospective clients.

“Protect-A-Bed has a long history of providing mattress protection products to hotels and other leaders in the hospitality industry,” said Protect-A-Bed CEO James Bell. “By adding Tim to our team, we look forward to expanding our leadership and expertise in this industry.”

Lavelle and Protect-A-Bed’s hospitality team work closely with hotel owners and operators to educate them on the benefits of creating a healthy sleep zone and protecting their bedding investment. “Hoteliers understand the benefits of using mattress protection, and are increasingly using our products to protect against dust mites, bed bugs, allergies and eczema,” Lavelle says. “Since hotels are at high risk for bed bug infestations, hoteliers are looking for ways to protect their customers.”

Eleven States in Territory

Lavelle is focusing on the northeast region, which includes Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, and Vermont.

In his position, Lavelle is also supporting Protect-A-Bed’s network of hospitality distributor representatives.

Prior to joining Protect-A-Bed, Lavelle served in a variety of sales and business development roles, including his most recent role as account manager for Feury Image Group. Lavelle has nearly 20 years of experience spanning the lodging, healthcare and retail industries.
