MIAMISBURG, OHIO—FreshMarx, a leader in automated date coding and the supplier of Monarch products and services, announced the release of its FreshMarx XL®PRO 29FFS three line labeler and supply system for improved efficiency and waste reduction.

With the release of the FreshMarxTM XL® PRO 29FFS three line labeler and supply system, restaurant owners and food service managers will be able to reduce the amount of labeling stock and labelers they keep on hand, while improving the accuracy of their date coding systems.

“XL PRO does the date coding work of seven different labels all with one labeling system,” says Richard Masartis, senior director for FreshMarx. “There is no longer a need for our customers to stock seven separate day of the week labels and multiple labelers in order to clearly mark prep and discard information. These labels clearly indicate prep date and time, employee initials, discard date and time, as well as a color coded discard day of the week—all with one label supply formulated with adhesive appropriate for the application.”

By replacing handwritten labels with clear label print, food waste is reduced, liability is decreased and efficiency is improved because food containers can be marked in a fraction of the time. The XL PRO 29FFS complements FreshMarx’s entire line of date coding systems ranging from handheld labelers to state-of-the-art programmable automated labeling systems and supplies used by leading restaurants nationwide to ensure that freshness labeling is accurate and unmistakable.
