WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Verve Living Systems, developers of wireless, battery-less control products, will be exhibiting a new line of energy-saving automation products during Greenbuild 2012. Greenbuild will be held in Toronto October 4 to 7. The new Verve product portfolio uses highly efficient radio frequency technology in an attractively designed family of sensors and control devices that enable significant energy savings without compromising comfort.

The Verve product line consists of four primary categories of product: Occupancy Detection, HVAC Control, Lighting and Load Control, and User Interfaces. Verve sensors determine the occupancy state of a room, and communicate wirelessly with other Verve devices to set back temperature, and turn off lights and miscellaneous electrical loads whenever a space is not occupied, helping to manage energy consumption and reduce costs. Many Verve products are wireless so installation is quick and easy. And, because the products require no batteries, the need for periodic battery changes and replacement costs are eliminated.

“With our latest product expansion, we continue our commitment to provide affordable products that enable significant energy savings in a variety of building types and applications,” said Dianne Pisarek, president at Verve. “With fast, non-invasive installation and no ongoing maintenance costs, we’re excited to showcase how Verve products enable customizable and affordable solutions to manage energy consumption in a variety of spaces.”
