MONTREAL—Hoteliers looking for ways to slash their hotels’ energy bills can visit Verdant next week at HX: The Hotel Experience Powered by AAHOA. Verdant’s simple, smart and intuitive guestroom thermostats combine smart occupancy sensors with patented cloud software features to set-back temperature while guests are away and reduce energy consumption when rooms are unoccupied.

Verdant solutions—including its new ZX energy-management thermostat and its popular, field-proven VX solution—will be on display in Booth 1315 November 10 to 11 at the Javits Center in New York.

“Verdant solutions are being installed in about 50 buildings each month with no signs of slowing,” said Michael Serour, Verdant VP of Sales. “Rising energy costs is only one reason for this remarkable demand. Year after year, as our loyal customers evaluate our performance, they return again and again. While the energy savings alone speaks volumes, it’s the simplicity of our solutions that guests and hoteliers love the most. For guests, Verdant systems feature push buttons or dial nobs to raise or lower temperature. For engineers, Verdant systems are ‘plug and play.’ A system can be online in a fraction of the time it would take to install a competing system. This means additional cost-savings, since Verdant’s products are self-install.

“HX has always been a favorite show for us, and we look forward to seeing our customers in New York and introducing our solutions to new prospects,” Serour said. “We’re especially excited to demo our patented ‘night occupancy mode’ feature. It’s a different approach to managing guest occupancy at night. We hope everyone will come by Booth 1315 to check it out.”

  • Full automation—Involvement from staff is not required.
  • Self-installation—Each thermostat can be installed in less than 10 minutes.
