FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA.—Valley Forge Fabrics, a supplier of decorative textiles to the hospitality industry, announced the appointment of Andrew Mahoney as executive vice president. Mahoney will report directly to co-presidents Diana and Michael Dobin and will play a pivotal roll in running Valley Forge’s business.

“Andy brings tremendous experience and value having streamlined medium and large businesses, measurably increasing efficiencies,” says Diana Dobin. “As Valley Forge continues to grow, we will look to Andy to bring a FRESH outside approach and apply his unique perspective to our organization.”

“Andy’s experience will enhance our business while his unique energy and drive will both challenge our existing team and complement our company culture,” Michael Dobin says.

Mahoney gained his senior level operations management experience from having managed multimillion and billion dollar companies. Additionally, Mahoney has developed production solutions, improved profitability and drove business development most notably at JM Family Enterprises.

“My experiences in running $35 million and $100 million companies as president and COO, along with senior leadership positions in multibillion corporations, provides me with a perspective that challenges conventional ‘in-house’ thinking and to help develop people, processes and new market opportunities to help expand the future success of Valley Forge Fabrics,” Mahoney says.
