TRAVELERS REST, S.C.—T&S Brass, a manufacturer of plumbing and foodservice equipment, recently launched its new EC-3122 above-deck electronic sensor faucet. With upgraded features and styling, the EC-3122 is the first in a new platform of above-deck electronic models to be added to the company’s ChekPoint sensor faucet line later this year.

Designed with convenience, ease-of-maintenance, security and conservation in mind, the EC-3122 has all above-deck features, including a manual mixing valve built into the faucet body itself and above-deck electronics and programmable controls. These include water shut-off delay, auto timeout, sensor range and auto flush.

Like other T&S ChekPoint faucets, the EC-3122 comes standard with AC (plug-in wall transformer with a split tail) and DC (four AA batteries) power options. Customers can also choose from a number of different compatible power options—including a hydrogenerator and ganging up to eight units using T&S’s easywire method and hardware method (available soon).

As with all T&S products that may carry potable water, the EC-3122 is lead-free, eliminating the need for wholesalers and distributors to maintain additional SKUs. It features a vandal-resistant aerator that flows at a rate of 2.2 gpms, with lower-flow aerator options available, and has been stringently engineered and tested to hold up in harsh environments and to assure peak performance through both constant and intermittent use.

“With increased focus on water conservation and hygiene, interest in sensor faucets has continued to grow very rapidly,” said Richard Fahey, T&S Brass senior marketing product manager. “We did a lot of market research to make the EC-3122 a hassle-free, dependable, easy-to-maintain, versatile product that works just as well in large hospital or stadium installations as it does in small restaurant hand sink applications.”
