OTTAWA, ON.—Green Key Global announced the Mere Hotel has achieved a 5 Key rating with the new GSTC Recognized Green Key Eco-Rating Program.

A 5 Green Key rating demonstrates the Mere Hotel, Winnipeg is a hotel that exemplifies the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility throughout all of its operations. The hotel employs cutting edge technologies, policies and programs that set the international standard for sustainable hotel operators.

“We’ve been striving for a 5 Green Key rating for a while and have been able to achieve it with the recent initiatives we have implemented at the property,” said Amber McCorrister, Housekeeping Manager with the Mere Hotel, Winnipeg. “The new mandatory questions along with additional bonus options result in a superior, more dynamic Green Key Eco-Rating Program.”
