NEW YORK—On the heels of announcing its expansion into the North American market, The Good Plastic Company welcomes two leaders to its rapidly growing U.S.-based team. Diane Barnes joins as President, North America and Linda Zupan assumes the role of Sales Operation Manager. The announcement marks a significant step forward for the company as it fortifies its foothold in the region. Starting in April, The Good Plastic Company will have stock of their flagship Polygood product readily available in North America, and the brand has already embarked on several prominent regional collaborations, including partnerships with Coach, SAP, LUSH, and Nike.

“We are pleased to have Diane and Linda guide us in this pivotal moment for The Good Plastic Company,” says Dr. William Chizhovsky, Founder of The Good Plastic Company. “With their extensive experience in senior leadership roles at major multinational corporations and strong industry relationships, they will be integral in our continued growth. From working closely with our network of reps to reach sales goals, to establishing dynamic partnerships, their work will further solidify our position as a global leader in sustainable material solutions.”

New York-based Diane Barnes brings a wealth of experience gleaned from her tenures at global brands Vitra, Haworth, 3-form, and HBF + HBF Textiles. With a dedicated passion for people and design, Diane will leverage her expertise and network to stimulate profitable revenue, heighten brand awareness, and oversee the company’s expansion efforts with a focus on environmental responsibility and innovation.

Meanwhile on the West Coast, Linda Zupan joins with a cultivated career spanning diverse industries. With nearly two decades at Vitra, Linda has honed her skills in project management, from lead inception to final installation.
