OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA—Matteson Capital will soon break ground on its highly anticipated development in Oklahoma City, Okla.—The Dream Project. The landmark project is inclusive of two luxury, wellness hotels by hotel brand and management company, Dream Hotel Group and a state-of-the-art, residential tower, The Dream Residences. Designed by architecture firm CUBE3 and built by Hensel Phelps alongside development partners Brad Hogan and Randy Hogan, the project will add over one million square feet to Oklahoma City’s visionary urban expansion. The Dream Project will also be among the country’s first developments offering innovative wellness systems throughout the build to provide a health-enhancing environment for guests, residents, and staff.

“We asked the question—what if we could design comfortable, luxury spaces also able to support people’s overall well-being? With that goal, our team curated cutting-edge wellness systems designed to help create an optimal indoor environment. We want everyone who spends time at The Dream Properties to enjoy the rejuvenating benefits of this wellness technology,” says Matteson Capital CEO, Scot Matteson.

To achieve their vision, Matteson Capital partnered with Irvine, Calif. based, Kelliwell, specialists in wellness integration for hotels, multi-family and senior living communities. Some of the features planned for The Dream Group Hotels and Dream Residences include advanced air purification and air quality monitoring, and water filtration systems to provide fresh, filtered water throughout the property. And gathering spaces will showcase a revolutionary circadian lighting system designed to support the body’s 24-hour cycle. This innovative feature boosts energy and focus during the day, and prepares the body for a restful, rejuvenating sleep in the evening.

Easy Access to New Convention Center

Set in the thriving Bricktown Entertainment District, location to more than 50 restaurants, shops, museums and family-friendly attractions, the project offers easy access to the new Oklahoma City Convention Center as well as the Midwest’s largest soundstage facility—Prairie Surf Studios. Also nearby are the Oklahoma Thunder and Oklahoma Dodgers stadiums—making it an ideal spot for The Dream Group’s global expansion.

“Oklahoma City is an incredible destination to launch our brands and we’re fortunate to collaborate with visionary developers like the team at Matteson Capital who share our ambitions to grow and develop our brands in Oklahoma City and other established and emerging markets across the country.” says Jay Stein, Dream Hotel Group CEO.

Slated for completion in 2024, The $275 million development will add a total of two new lifestyle hotels, 394 guestrooms and suites, seven restaurants and bars, luxury spa and fitness facilities, and 150 private residences to Oklahoma City’s booming downtown district.
