NEWBURG, ORE.—The Willamette Valley Wine Country’s modern grand dame, The Allison Inn & Spa, announced the appointment of Percy Brandon to general manager.
In his new role, Brandon will oversee all property operations for the resort including its 85 guestrooms and suites, an estimated 200 colleagues, and all food and beverage operations.
Brandon comes to The Allison following 21 years of leadership as General Manager at Vintners Resort—a serene, luxury getaway located in Sonoma County, Calif. A well-respected community leader, Brandon joined the company in 2000 as General Manager of John Ash & Co. restaurant. A few months following in January 2001, he was promoted to General Manager of the resort, then known as the Vintners Inn. He is known throughout the Sonoma County community as “the man who celebrates everything,” which has also become a registered trademark for the resort.
Under his direction, Vintners Resort expanded from 44 rooms to 78, and is now a full-service resort that offers an event center, multiple wedding venues, the award-winning John Ash & Co. Restaurant, River Vine Restaurant, The Front Room Bar & Lounge and Vi La Vita Spa. Brandon’s commitment to the Sonoma community has been exemplary. He has served on the boards of many community and professional organizations including Sonoma County Tourism, the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber, the Sonoma County Harvest Fair, United Way of Wine Country, and the Russian River Valley Wine Growers.

I am honored to join the team at The Allison Inn & Spa, and I look forward to collaborating with them to achieve even higher levels of hospitality and continuing to distinguish this resort with its outstanding guest experience.”
