SEATTLESportsArt, a leader in socially responsible fitness equipment and solutions for over 40 years, recently launched the G778 ECO-POWR Stepper, further expanding its innovative energy-generating line of cardio equipment.

The non-motorized G778 ECO-POWR Stepper provides an effective step workout while generating usable electricity in any workout setting. Using SportsArt’s innovative ECO-POWR technology, the G778 converts up to 74 percent of human energy into clean, renewable energy. The built-in technology drives a connection between individual actions and environmental impact by generating up to 220 Wh of electricity per hour workout, offsetting energy consumption. That’s enough to power a computer for more than two hours.

“With our energy-generating equipment offerings we can do more than provide incredible cardio workouts. We can help users reach their sustainability goals. And that’s why launching this stepper brings us, no pun intended, one step closer to accomplishing our mission—to change the world one workout at a time,” said Ruben Mejia, Executive Vice President of SportsArt Americas. “The G778 ECO-POWR Stepper expands the options in sustainable fitness solutions we now can offer to gym owners and provides their members with challenging and effective lower body strengthening workouts.”

The sleek, modern stepper is designed to allow a wide variety of users at any fitness level to dial in the exact intensity they desire. Intuitive toggle and fingertip controls make it simple to customize the experience and adjust on the fly, selecting from a range of 20 to 180 steps per minute—steps that feel like climbing real stairs given the G778 Stepper’s natural step pattern. The backlit, easy-to-read LCD display and 14 real-time data readouts—including steps climbed, calories burned and watts to grid—motivates users by demonstrating their progress toward reaching their workout goals as they help the planet at the same time. Additional features include racing-style handles, contact heart rate sensor, a three-speed fan, and multiple step-up heights, enabling users to safely step on and create a workout that optimizes performance and comfort.
