SANTA ANA, CALIF.—Rachel Hulan announced the launch of Hulan Design, a consultancy service that will provide specialized expert advice and guidance targeting sustainable interior design projects. Hulan Design is aimed at helping interior designers, architects, home owners, real estate developers and anyone else seeking expert guidance while creating residential or commercial projects that adhere to sustainable, environmentally conscious principles.

Rachel Hulan has been involved in interior design projects ranging from the Sundance Film Festival and the Teen Choice Awards, to numerous residential assignments. As an interior designer and architectural color consultant in Orange County for 14 years, and the founder and owner of Path Design, Rachel has worked on projects as diverse as television shows, science centers, private residences and master planned communities, developing a broad base of knowledge from which to consult interior designers, architects, home owners, real estate developers and anyone else seeking expert advice.

“I launched Hulan Design to share my enthusiasm and knowledge of sustainable design in order to create as many sustainable projects as possible,” Hulan says. “I have a passion for interior design. Most importantly, I love helping others plan and prepare their projects including interior aesthetics, color consultation and green design planning. As a consultant I provide my clients with years of experience and knowledge that will help them successfully reach their sustainable design goals.”

An active participant in the local green design community, Rachel is a Certified Green Building Professional, as well as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Orange County chapter. She is deeply committed to promoting awareness of sustainable interior design, frequently speaking to schools and civic groups on the benefits and solutions available with green building practices. She has developed and taught courses in sustainable design at both CSUF and CSULB.

As a design consultant, Rachel will provide expert guidance on sustainable design principles, aesthetically pleasing colors and materials, as well as emerging trends and innovations.
As an extension of its service, Hulan Design will also offer its clients an area on the company’s website that can be used to schedule online or telephone consultations with Hulan after filling out a simple questionnaire.
