NEW YORK—PurOptima, the leading manufacturer of premium glass wall partitions and door systems, along with Clover Architectural Products—PurOptima’s Midwest Product Delivery Management Partner, announces the addition of its latest Project Delivery Partner, D-M Products to cover Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Founded in 1974 and based in Bethel Park, Pa., D-M Products (DMP) is a premier contract glazing company specializing in the sales and installation of aluminum curtain walls, windows, skylights, and related glazing products. Serving the Corporate, University, and Healthcare sectors, DMP has successfully completed major construction and renovation projects throughout Western and Central Pennsylvania, as well as West Virginia.
Forming a partnership with DMP aligns with PurOptima’s mission to introduce the U.S. design and real estate market to premium, sustainable glass wall partitions and door solutions. This collaboration allows PurOptima to deliver these projects with experienced, qualified partners in interior glass wall fabrication and construction. It marks a key step toward becoming the preferred choice for glass wall partitioning solutions across the United States and beyond.
PurOptima’s Commercial Director, Kevin Mayer, comments, “As part of our U.S. expansion plans, we are thrilled to continue to grow the PurOptima brand further into the Midwest region working closely with our Midwest Project Delivery Management Partner Clover Architectural Products. We’re excited to show designers, architects, contractors, and building owners how our glass wall systems can provide maximum ROI through stunning aesthetic design, industry-leading acoustic performance, and significant carbon savings. After successful launches in major hubs like New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., expanding further into these states marks the perfect next step in our growth. This expansion allows us to apply our insights and adapt our offerings to meet the unique design needs of this dynamic new region.”
Committed to Working with the Best Manufacturers
“We are excited to partner with PurOptima and Clover Architectural Products to introduce their exceptional demountable glass wall partitions and door solutions to our region. Building on the strong relationships we’ve cultivated over our 50-year history in the glazing industry, we remain committed to working with the best manufacturers to ensure we continue delivering the highest quality products and services to our valued customers,” states Mike Macurak, President of D-M Products.
Kevin Mayer continues, “As a leader in providing bespoke workplace solutions in the Midwest, we worked closely with Tom O’Malley from Clover in executing our partner search, and DMP was the obvious choice for expanding in the Midwest region. DMP is dedicated to providing clients with innovative, high-performance solutions and outstanding service. We are united by a commitment to enhancing the built environment through sustainable product development and integrating circular principles into our operations.”
PurOptima’s continued expansion into the U.S. market comes after a major announcement that PurOptima has switched its aluminum supply to Hydro CIRCAL across the entire company. Hydro CIRCAL is a new brand of sustainable aluminum, made with a minimum of 75 percent recycled post-consumer scrap, which minimizes the carbon footprint of the products in which it’s used and makes it a significantly more sustainable option than all other aluminum products currently on the market. Recycling aluminum requires just 5 percent of the energy needed to produce primary aluminum, drastically reducing the amount of energy required. This benefit is then passed onto PurOptima’s glass partitions and doors, greatly reducing their embodied carbon, reflecting the company’s ongoing aim to become a low-emission partitions manufacturer.
Kevin Mayer explains, “Currently, U.S.-produced aluminum has an embodied carbon of 16 kg CO₂ per kilogram, compared to a European average of 8.6 kg CO₂. In contrast, Hydro CIRCAL aluminum—exclusively available in the U.S. through PurOptima’s glass wall partitioning systems—has an embodied carbon of just 1.9 kg CO₂e per kilogram, down from the previous 2.3 kg CO₂e. This represents a substantial advantage for clients committed to lowering their carbon footprint. We have already achieved significant carbon reductions for clients focused on sustainable practices.”
The introduction of Hydro CIRCAL further underscores PurOptima’s commitment to circular economic principles, a core element of its business model. This milestone marks significant progress in PurOptima’s journey toward sustainable development and achieving a net-zero carbon footprint. Fully traceable and independently certified by third parties, Hydro CIRCAL is a transformative addition to PurOptima’s product portfolio and the broader building products industry. This pioneering shift positions PurOptima as a recognized leader in advancing genuine sustainable change within the commercial interior design industry.
