CINCINNATI—At this year’s International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show, Procter & Gamble Professional will reiterate its environmental philosophy by showcasing products backed by P&G Professional’s Green Guarantee. According to P&G, the products offer outstanding performance while meeting high standards for human and environmental safety.
All P&G products are held to high human and environmental safety, so products such as Febreze Fabric Refresher and Mr. Clean Finished Floor Cleaner can be used in hotels and motels that require green products. These products meet or exceed the Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Preferred Purchasing guidelines and the criteria of the GS-37 standard where applicable.
The green guarantee means the ingredients used have excellent safety profiles with regard to all forms of toxicity, including cancer and reproductive toxicity. They are not formulated with harmful chemicals like butyl cellosolve or alkyl phenol ethoxylates that are found in some cleaning products.
P&G Professional developed the Green Guarantee to reassure customers about the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The Green Guarantee highlights the holistic approach the company takes in regards to product development. Not only are ingredients considered when developing a product but the overall impact the product and ingredients will have on the environment.
