NEW YORK, N.Y.—PacknWood announced that it will exhibit at The Hotel Experience at the Javits Center in New York City from November 10 to 11. The Javits Center is located at 429 11th Avenue, just over half a mile from the PacknWood showroom and office. Participants are invited to come see all the hotel and food service supplies PacknWood carries in its showroom at 213 W 35th Street on the 14th floor.

The PacknWood displays will be located at Booth #1136. Packnwood is one of the 225+ exhibitors that will showcase its food service products to hotel and food service companies. Members of PacknWood’s team will be available to make product recommendations, answer questions, and provide demos on how to best use products to solve common packaging challenges.

PacknWood prides itself on selling the best eco-friendly single serve and reusable food service products available on the market. This includes room service trays, paper cutlery bags, authentic cork coffee cups for breakfast bars, compostable cups and straws, and poolside food service supplies. Research from Cornell University highlights how customers increasingly expect hotels to offer and maintain sustainability programs as a “regular feature of their business.” The Green Lodging Trends Report shows how 44 percent of the hotels surveyed changed some of their onsite policies based on guest comments about sustainability. Hotel guests want to support and book hotels that are green and eco-friendly. Using eco-friendly food service products is just one of the visible ways that hotels can implement this change.

At HX, PacknWood will feature its new line of palm leaf products that can be used as a safe and stylish option for poolside service. Kraft Self-Adhering Paper Wrappers are perfect for grab ‘n go entrees served in a display case to give customers confidence that food hasn’t been tampered with.
