SAN DIEGO—In this new age of evolving plug-and-play appliances, electronics, and even automobiles, NOVI Industries, Inc. is innovating traditional bathroom construction methods by manufacturing custom-built, prefabricated modular bathrooms with the introduction of InoviaPods.

InoviaPods are manufactured off-site with efficient quality control procedures, strict health and safety standards and built using environmentally-friendly materials such as light-gauge steel framing and magnesium-oxide board sheathing. These major structural components have several advantages: fire proofing; and resistant to water infiltration, pests, mold and mildew, as well as seismic activities. They are completely non-toxic materials.

Built to clients’ specifications and needs such as size, layout, finishes, and fixtures, InoviaPods follow strict building, electrical, HVAC, plumbing codes and requirements depending on localities. Also, InoviaPods can aid in achieving LEED certification through the use of green materials and systems.

Using an off-site prefabrication process, InoviaPods will support a faster, more productive construction process. This process can eliminate the need for multiple trade quality control and lower labor costs as well as bulk material costs. A recent project using prefabricated modular construction methods includes 8 million square feet of commercial, institutional, and residential land development in Algeria, North Africa. Savings were realized from reduced material storage logistics, less waste, reduced general supervision, and minimal re-work.
