SALEM, N.J.—Mannington Mills has released its fourth annual Values in Action Report, highlighting how the 110-year-old, fifth-generation, family-owned flooring manufacturer continues to strengthen its business through long-term investments in its people, products, operations and communities. The report details environmental, social and governance initiatives across the company’s Mannington Commercial, Mannington Residential, Amtico, Phenix and Burke brands, demonstrating how its values continue to guide responsible growth, operational excellence and long-term resilience.
“As a family-owned company, we’re not just managing for the next quarter, we’re preparing for the next generation,” said Zack Zehner, Executive Chairman and fifth-generation Campbell family member. “That means investing in our people, strengthening our leadership and governance, and continuing to evolve while staying true to the values that have guided us for more than 100 years.”
Throughout 2025, Mannington Mills continued advancing initiatives aligned with its four core values—Care, Do the Right Thing, Control Our Own Destiny and Work Hard/Play Hard.
Care
The company expanded leadership development programs in the U.S. and U.K., helping prepare future generations of leaders and strengthening the capabilities needed to adapt to today’s rapidly changing business environment. Mannington Mills also achieved another record-low total recordable injury and illness rate while investing in safer workplaces and reinforcing its culture of care.
Do the Right Thing
During the year, Mannington Mills further advanced its commitment to responsible manufacturing and product transparency. The company installed more than 1,100 additional Georgia-made solar panels at its Calhoun, Georgia, Modular Carpet System’s manufacturing facility, expected to generate approximately 60 percent of the site’s energy needs. It also introduced a new industry leading Managed Substances List, detailing what is and is not in its products, to strengthen transparency across the supply chain.
Control Our Own Destiny
The report also highlights continued progress toward Mannington Mills’ long-term environmental commitment to achieve net-zero by 2050. In 2025, the company established targets for carbon, energy, water withdrawal and waste intensity. It also continued offsetting the equivalent of 105 percent of cradle-to-gate greenhouse gas emissions associated with all domestically manufactured commercial flooring products through its partnership with the Appalachian Carbon Exchange.
Work Hard/Play Hard
Beyond its operations, Mannington Mills continued investing in the communities where its associates live and work. Associates, Board members and Campbell family members volunteered approximately 1,500 hours and raised $150,000 through the company’s partnership with Feeding America, helping provide the equivalent of at least 1.5 million meals for local neighbors. Those efforts were recognized with the Vinyl Sustainability Council’s 2025 Social Impact Award. In the U.K., Amtico associates continued supporting organizations like Feeding Coventry, extending the company’s commitment to caring for communities across its global operations.
Future Forward
“Growth is the outcome of doing the right things,” said Tom Pendley, President and CEO. “When we invest in our associates, listen to our customers and support the communities where we operate, we’re building a stronger, long-term business. To us, operational performance and sustainability are connected, not competing priorities. That’s how we’ve always approached leadership at Mannington Mills, and it’s reflected throughout this year’s report.”
