AUSTIN, TEXAS—Attendee registration and the Housing Bureau for the 2010 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) is now available online. HITEC 2010, a service of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), is the world’s largest hospitality technology exposition and conference. This year’s conference is June 21 to 24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

“HITEC is an ideal environment for professionals to learn about and discuss current industry issues,” said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. “In one location attendees can find essential education, access to experts and hospitality technology vendors, opportunities to network with top leaders in the industry and the resources to find cost-effective ways to improve company bottom lines.”

New to the HITEC 2010 education program are the Super Sessions—a group of longer, overview sessions dedicated to the pressing issues in hospitality technology like distribution, social media, guestroom technology and more. These topics were identified by the industry experts comprising the HITEC Advisory Council. To continue the discussion in greater detail, the education program also features concurrent sessions branching from these main issues, and white papers written by industry experts, which will be published in The Bottomline magazine. This year’s exhibit hall features the newest version of GUESTROOM 20X, a special exhibit showcasing the most innovative technologies for the guestroom.

Attendee registration and the HITEC Housing Bureau are now available on the website. Registrations made through the website receive an immediate acknowledgement via e-mail. HITEC exhibitor registration will be available in April 2010. Visit HITEC.org for complete information about all conference and exhibition events, including the conference schedule, a list of exhibitors, a map of the exhibit hall and the most current HITEC news.
