Caesars Entertainment, Inc. is the largest casino entertainment company in the U.S. with more than 50,000 Team Members and more than 50 destinations. It just released its 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report.
The report covers the company’s progress under PEOPLE, PLANET, & PLAY. Caesars Entertainment’s Board of Directors’ CSR Committee helps guide the company through its many initiatives. I read through the report. The following accomplishments and progress caught my eye:
PEOPLE
Last year, Caesars Team Members contributed 78,000 HERO volunteer hours, demonstrating their passion for helping others and their commitment to giving back.
In 2025, guests contributed nearly $2.6 million to the Caesars Makes Change program, supporting national and local nonprofit partners.
Also in 2025, Caesars continued to center its Team Members at the heart of its communication strategy, through the launch of Spotlight Star Search, an opportunity for Team Members to become the new face of employer brand and culture campaigns. With over 170 submissions, the selection committee narrowed the field to 32 semifinalists, whose videos were viewed and voted on by Team Members. More than 5,000 votes were cast, and 16 Super Stars were selected. The strong participation demonstrated that elevating Team Member voices unites the company and keeps communications focused on what matters most, people.
The Path to Wellbeing program provides resources and wellness tools that support physical activity, nutrition, mental health, sleep and stress management. Team Members also have access to fitness and wellbeing programs and discounts through its insurance carriers and on-site Health Clinics. In Las Vegas, Team Members also benefit from a free on-site gym and fitness classes.
Over 7,700 open roles were filled internally, with 5,500 internal promotions in 2025. Sixteen percent of promotions in 2025 were inter-departmental.
Launched in August 2024, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) Program was designed to build a stronger pipeline of future property leaders. By early 2025, the program was fully in motion as a development initiative, providing hands-on operational experience and focused leadership development. Since launch, seven AGMs have participated or are currently in role, with three promotions into General Manager and other leadership positions.
In 2025, as communities across California faced devastating wildfires, Caesars Foundation took action to support individuals and families displaced by the disaster. The Foundation contributed $208,200, including $4,100 in Team Member donations, toward wildfire relief efforts through the American Red Cross, providing immediate assistance during a time of urgent need.
In partnership with Clean the World, Caesars Foundation and Caesars HEROs, Caesars also helped deliver 5,700 hygiene kits to people impacted by the wildfires. These kits, containing essential personal care items, offered dignity, comfort and practical support to individuals who were forced to evacuate their homes with little notice.
PLANET
Caesars expanded its renewable energy efforts in 2025 through a long-term partnership with Estuary Power—one of its most significant renewable energy investments to date. Through this agreement, it sources more than 65,000 MWh of clean energy annually.
To address the scale and complexity of its footprint, Caesars signed a power purchase agreement to bring on-site solar energy to its Caesars Virginia property. The one-megawatt rooftop solar project is expected to deliver more than 1,680,000 kWh annually starting in Spring 2027.
The company is maintaining its path to deliver carbon neutrality for its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2050 through a combination of incremental efficiencies, accelerating use of renewable energy and nature-based offset solutions. Caesars reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 21 percent in 2025 against a 2019 base year. It reduced Scope 3 emissions by 26 percent in 2025 against a 2022 base year.
Diverted 42 percent of all waste generated at properties from landfill in 2025.
Reduced water consumption per square foot by 8 percent in 2025 against a 2019 base year.
Caesars has embraced native and drought tolerant landscaping to dramatically reduce irrigation needs and improve local biodiversity.
Caesars locations have 268 EV charging ports. Drivers experienced more than 40,000 charging sessions last year. In 2025, it began converting its in-house fleet at Caesars Palace to fully electric vehicles, becoming the first all-electric fleet of Cadillacs and reducing fuel consumption and emissions while maintaining operational efficiency.
Food and beverage operations generate significant organic waste, including grease and oils. To manage this responsibly, Caesars reset expectations with vendors servicing grease interceptors and grease traps in 2025, requiring detailed diversion reporting from all partners, with diversion starting in 2026. This transparency ensures that grease is recycled into biofuels or other beneficial uses rather than ending up in landfills.
Partnered with Arbor Day Foundation to replant 8,888 native trees across 42 acres of the Eldorado National Forest, Caldor Fire Burn Scar, supporting wildlife, improving water quality and sequestering carbon.
In 2025, recognizing the importance of animal welfare, Caesars reached 65 percent cage-free egg sourcing across its operations and is working toward increasing that percentage over time. It is committed to achieving 100 percent cage-free egg sourcing by 2027.
PLAY
In 2025, Caesars marked 36 years of its pioneering Responsible Gaming program which continues to set industry standards and evolve alongside its business and guest needs. Last year, it reinforced efforts through enterprise-wide Responsible Gaming Education for Guests and Team Members, strengthening its commitment to guest safety and responsible entertainment.
Wellness has long been a defining pillar of the meetings and events experience at Caesars. As one of the earliest champions of integrating wellness into the meeting environment, Caesars helped shape an approach that the broader industry is now enthusiastically embracing. To highlight this continued leadership, conference and event planners from across the country were invited to a multi-city Wellness Roadshow, where they experienced immersive activations and heard from expert speakers featured in the company’s wellness menus. Caesars also introduced its new Wellness Guide, giving planners practical, ready-to-use tools that make it simple to weave wellness into any program. With wellness now one of the fastest growing trends in the meetings and events industry, Caesars remains at the forefront, helping planners create more meaningful, energizing and memorable experiences for their attendees.
Caesars’ growth is anchored in responsibility. Its digital platforms include robust Responsible Gaming tools, such as self-exclusion, deposit limits, cool-off periods and reality checks, supporting informed and confident play. Just as importantly, the Project 21 program reinforces strict age-verification standards, ensuring platforms are designed exclusively for those who are 21 and over.
Caesars’ total community investment reached $87.8 million in 2025, including nearly $3.6 million donated to national and local nonprofit organizations from the Caesars Foundation, the monetary value of 78,000 volunteer hours through the Company’s HERO volunteer program and $2.6 million contributed by Caesars Entertainment guests through the Caesars Makes Change initiative.
Caesars invested $35 million in training and development in 2025, supporting more than 1.5 million hours of learning and helping Team Members build long-term careers across the enterprise.
Caesars filled more than 7,700 roles internally in 2025, including 5,500 promotions, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to career growth and advancement from within.
“While these highlights reflect just a portion of the work done over the past year, they demonstrate the strength of our long-standing Code of Commitment,” says Tom Reeg, CEO, Caesars Entertainment. “We are proud of our progress, and we remain confident that our PEOPLE PLANET PLAY framework positions Caesars Entertainment for a responsible and resilient future.”
