ATLANTA—Green Spa Network (GSN) Board of Directors is now accepting applications for board service.
Launched in 2007, GSN is a nonprofit resource for sustainable businesses in the spa and wellness industry and has grown to over 1,500 members through the hard work of volunteers. These efforts are spearheaded by a passionate and dedicated Board of Directors which is now seeking applications from professionals in the spa, wellness, and sustainability industries.
“Joining the GSN Board is a unique opportunity to combine your passion and expertise,” said Joanna Roche, GSN Executive Director. “We are committed to driving awareness and action within our industry to adopt regenerative practices, and to ultimately effect social change.”
Events Coming in September, November
Known for its progressive education and inspirational events, GSN is also responsible for the SAT (Sustainability Assessment Tool) and toolkit, the industry benchmarking tool for sustainability practices. Their upcoming events will take place in New York City this September and November.
Eco-Wellness Stories Media Forum, to be held at the Rainbow Room on September 13, is a premier networking event for spa and wellness brands to showcase their latest green initiatives to the press in a unique one-on-one format. Vital Connections: Retail Brand Summit will be located in Brooklyn from November 11 to 13. The summit is designed to provide an intimate retail buying environment for spas to connect and build partnerships with like-minded retail brands. Applications for GSN Board Service can be made through greenspanetwork.org and will be accepted through August 31, 2018. Successful candidates will begin their first two-year term in November 2018.
