ODESSA, FLA.—Green Lodging News has added The Mitchell Group as a Founding Sponsor at the Bronze level. The Mitchell Group was established in 2004 and is a converter of PU, PVC, and Silicone products manufactured in Asia. Its capabilities to decorate products include release paper, embossing, post-processing, and two-stage printing effects.

Sta-Kleen Silicone is coated with 100 percent silicone on a polyester textile substrate. The manufacturing process does not use any solvents and very little water which is recycled. There is no VOC released and no air pollution. Sta-Kleen Silicone is approved for both indoor and outdoor use. Sta-Kleen Silicone consists of three solid patterns and 41 colorways. Sta-Kleen Digital Prints consists of seven digitally printed patterns and 34 colorways.

Sta-Kleen Silicone exceeds the performance standards for commercial coated fabrics set by the Association of Contract Textiles (ACT). Sta-Kleen Silicone is also inherently stain-resistant, chemical disinfectant resistant, mildew resistant, hydrolysis resistant, UV resistant, and denim dye resistant with superior cold crack performance. It delivers the highest Colorfastness to Light rating of any coated fabric on the market today.

Sta-Kleen Silicone does not contain polyvinyl chloride, plasticizers, phthalates, stabilizers, heavy metals, or Bisphenol-A. It does not contain any chemical additives but passes most commercial flammability tests.

Polyurethane

Mitchell has two premier polyurethane brands: Sta-Kleen Performance and Sta-Kleen Polycarbonate (PC). Sta-Kleen Performance debuted in 2010 as the first dry erase, stain-resistant urethane upholstery fabric on the market. The collection consists of fourteen patterns and 134 colorways.

Sta-Kleen contains no lead or heavy metals. It is phthalate and formaldehyde-free. It does not contain anti-microbial additives, chemical flame retardants, persistent organic pollutants, or toxic by-products. Sta-Kleen is REACH and RoHS compliant and is eligible for LEED credits for Healthcare MR Credit 5 and LEED v4 for Commercial Interiors.

Sta-Kleen PC is constructed with a 100 percent polycarbonate resin system on a polyester textile substrate. The polycarbonate resins provide a strong and durable product. Sta-Kleen PC is engineered to perform in the most demanding commercial environments. To do so requires that it has performance values that are greater than the current standards set by the Association of Contract Textiles (ACT) for regular commercial applications. The Sta-Kleen PC collection consists of eleven patterns and 193 colorways.

Polyvinyl Chloride

Ez-Kleen is an environmentally friendly vinyl performance fabric. The Ez-Kleen products are phthalate-free and do not contain flame-retardant chemicals or anti-microbial additives. These vinyl products are non-porous and highly cleanable. They are durable and resistant to abrasion. All patterns feature the Ez-Kleen stain-resistant protective finish. Performance values all meet or exceed standards set by the Association of Contract Textiles (ACT). The 11 patterns and 174 colorways come in a variety of looks including solids, embossed, metallic, distressed, and weave. Ez-Kleen fabrics are ideal for hospitality, contract, and residential applications.
