PLANO, TEXAS—EnviroGLAS announced a significant expansion and the reapportionment of sales regions to meet the rapidly increasing demand for recycled glass and porcelain counters, floors, wall panels and landscaping mulch.

EnviroGLAS has added 14 architectural representatives in the last year, and EnviroGLAS products are now carried in at least 30 showrooms across the country, many of which are new green building supply stores. The expanded sales team can be viewed at www.enviroglasproducts.com/reps.asp. The number of EnviroGLAS dealers is expected to double in 2008.

“Earth Day is this weekend,” says president and founder Tim Whaley. “It’s the perfect time to acknowledge our team’s passion for the environment and for EnviroGLAS. I am honored that we have grown so much over the last year. As a result I am happy to say that we will divert more trash from the landfill this year than ever before.”

EnviroGLAS converts post-consumer and industrial glass and porcelain bound for the landfill into elegant, sustainable and ecological hard surfaces and landscaping materials. A recent independent analysis found that of the 69 LEED points available, EnviroGLAS Terrazzo can contribute to eight or more.
