DALLAS—Two proven ecopreneurs and ecological advocates have launched CompostMania.com, a comprehensive online destination for all things composting, including state-of-the-art products and educational resources for beginners to seasoned composters.

“CompostMania.com provides composting products for the most advanced gardener to families who want to start teaching their children about the importance of being good stewards of the environment,” said CompostMania.com founder and CEO Robert Olivier. “Our goal at CompostMania.com is to encourage consumers to reconnect with their local ecosystem through composting and organic gardening, which will promote the Earth’s natural lifecycle.”

CompostMania.com offers composting, gardening and water harvesting products. Specialty indoor and outdoor products include compost bins, tumblers and worm bins for backyard gardens, as well as the BioPod Plus, which is ideal for urban gardens. The site also offers a selection of pet waste disposal units, gardening tools and other accessories.

Olivier launched CompostMania.com with Karl Warkomski, co-founder and vice president of operations, to encourage consumers to reduce their ecological footprint through composting. Together, their mission is to educate consumers on the role of composting as an integral component of environmental stewardship, and to offer effective and sustainable products to put this into action.

Simple Way to Recycle

“Composting is a way to feed the earth through recycling—it’s a simple and low-maintenance way to create nutrient-rich soil that allows animals, plants and flowers to flourish,” said Warkomski. “By reducing waste and giving nutrients back to the Earth, we can learn, create and experience the rhythms of a renewable life cycle.”

Olivier, who grew up in an environmental-sciences family, also serves as the president of ESR International, an environmental research and development company focused on industrial separation and recycling technologies, and as vice president of business development for ProtaCulture, the bioconversion technologies division of ESR International.

In addition to CompostMania.com, Olivier and Warkomski have created a patented composting bin, the BioPod Plus, a highly advanced, grub compost bin that utilizes native grubs to speed up the bioconversion process and produce nutritious feed for chickens, fish and songbirds.
