Each brings a distinct expression to the pairing: Composed of textured bouclé, Abode balances an organic and irregular surface with a sophisticated, angular motif. Linger is cuddly soft, combining coziness with technical features like indoor-outdoor performance and rigorous Cradle to Cradle (C2C) certification.
“The idea of home sparks feelings of warmth, ease, and relaxation,” says Eve Singer, Principal Designer, Designtex. “These sentiments inspired Linger and Abode, two companion textiles that are inviting to the eye and soft to the hand thanks to their weave structures and tactile yarns. We invite designers to apply these materials across spaces that could use an extra dose of comfort.”
Abode brings softness to geometry, pairing a residential sensibility with the demands of contract interiors. Its frame-like motif is woven in nubby, looped bouclé, creating subtle variation that tempers the pattern’s angular lines. A palette ranging from earthy neutrals to richer hues adds warmth and approachability to the motif.
Linger is like a sweater for furniture. Multicolor bouclé yarns woven into a natural-looking warp create visual depth and a cozy hand, with subtle irregularities emerging from its structured surface. Available in a warm, nature-inspired palette, Linger is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, bringing its inviting character to a wide range of spaces.
Linger has achieved both C2C Certified® Full Scope Bronze, which evaluates the full lifecycle of a product, and C2C Certified® Material Health Silver, which focuses on material and chemical composition. Established by the independent, nonprofit Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, C2C criteria encompasses circularity, healthy materials, fair labor practices, and water and energy conservation—recognizing Linger’s positive contributions to people and the planet.
