BLACKLICK, OHIO—Besa Lighting has introduced a low voltage monorail system with a broad range of pendant and spotlight options and accessories. The heart of the 12V monorail system is a new ultra-low profile rail that is hand bendable, but with enough “memory” to sustain its shape for a variety of configurations. Four- and eight-foot sections are available in either bronze or satin nickel finish, and are field-cuttable to meet exact specifications.

Surface-mounted and remote electronic and magnetic transformer configurations are offered. The 300-watt ratings support up to six 50-watt or eight 35-watt low voltage lighting elements. The Besa monorail system can easily be customized in the field, for complex plans with sloped or high ceilings. Rigid standoffs and field-cuttable extension posts provide heights ranging from two inches to 18 inches from the ceiling. Other mounting accessories include swivel standoffs and adjustable cable supports, which include five feet of cable for longer drops. Conductive or isolating rail connectors are available.

Besa Monorail Kits are available in 8 foot, 12 foot or 16 foot configurations. A coordinating family of single- and multi-light Quick-Connect canopies are also part of the new line. A matching set of new Quick-Connect spotlight elements is also available for use with the Besa monorail system. A variety of new glass and metal designs are included. The system also accepts the complete Besa line of Quick-Connect pendant elements, which features a wide variety of glass decors, shapes and styles.
