BROADVIEW, ILL.—Air Cycle Corp. recently announced the creation of its new environmental consulting division, Greener Results. Greener Results is a consulting group that works with its clients to assess their needs, improve their environmental programs, and help them get credit for their environmental achievements. Greener Results’ goal is to help all of its clients improve their environmental performance, while simultaneously saving money and improving marketability.
Air Cycle has long been an industry leader in lamp recycling, featuring the industry standard for drum-top crushing, the Bulb Eater, and it has expanded its services over time to include additional universal wastes, such as ballasts, batteries, and electronics. Greener Results was created in part due to the expressed input of Air Cycle’s customers to help them address increasingly complex environmental needs and the public’s push to go green. Air Cycle’s customers now have direct access to the internal expertise of an experienced Greener Results staff.
Leading the Greener Results team is director Tom Griffin, who brings more than 16 years of experience in the fields of pollution prevention, environmental management systems, and sustainable program development. Tom ran a series of EPA and state-based voluntary programs for the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality—programs that provided technical assistance and public recognition and that were focused on environmental performance and cost savings.
Tom has assembled staff and a network of affiliated experts which will allow Greener Results to function as a full-service consulting group ready to handle literally any environmental need. Greener Results offers a wide array of environmental services ranging from green assessments and waste auditing to regulatory compliance and sustainability programs. Greener Results also can provide a line of green products and technologies and marketing tools to assist its customers in their greening efforts.
Greener Results also provides its clients with a set of Web-based tools that can facilitate tracking and maximize the effectiveness of environmental program efforts. Endeavor was originally developed by Air Cycle Corp. to provide online tracking and ordering of recycling services for many of its customers. However, Endeavor also has unlimited potential to track all types of environmental reports and data; and it is now being customized to serve as the Web-based hub for all environmental issues, including centralized ordering, dynamic reporting, green marketing, and many other additional features.
Greener Results is now working with many national clients including CB Richard Ellis, Marriott International, Inc., and Lincoln Property Co.
