MIAMI—ABCO Cleaning Products, a leading provider of sustainable cleaning tools, won two 2023 ISSA Innovation Awards for its Natura Yarn Wet and Dry Mops—the Environmental & Sustainability award and the Distributor’s Choice award.

The mops are produced using sustainable manufacturing processes at ABCO’s plant in Choloma, Honduras and are made from recycled textile waste. Each year, these mops repurpose 12 million pounds of textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. Natura Yarn mops are available in loop-end and cut-end options and some of the mops are Green Seal-certified.
Keeping Up with the Trends

ABCO launched several new products during the ISSA Show, including a 28-quart office waste can, a 23-gallon tight-space waste can with easy-lift venting channels, 32- and 44-gallon round waste cans with easy-lift venting channels, a waste can dolly and a janitor cart.
On top of producing high-quality, sustainable products, ABCO is relentlessly improving the lives of its employees at its Honduras plant and the surrounding communities. For example, ABCO provides all employees access to a healthcare clinic and free meals. Earlier this year, they donated necessities, such as diapers, clothing and toiletries to help mitigate some financial stress for young families with newborns.
