NEW YORK—Carnegie, a leader in sustainable textiles and acoustical management solutions for the hospitality industry, exhibited at Boutique Design New York (BDNY) on November 10-11. With over 70 years of innovation in responsibly designed materials, Carnegie highlighted its expertise in both sustainability and performance, showcasing a range of acoustic and textile products ideal for hospitality spaces.
Visitors to the Carnegie booth experienced a striking art installation created through Kirei by Carnegie’s partnership with ArtLifting, a platform that supports artists impacted by disabilities or homelessness. Using custom printing abilities through Kirei Ink, this art piece was printed on Kirei PET and prominently displayed on the back wall, mounted over Xorel wallcovering, Carnegie’s signature PVC-free textile. The installation served as a powerful statement about the company’s dedication to creating sustainable, community-driven products that inspire conversation and elevate hospitality spaces.
The other side of the booth was dedicated to an impressive display of textiles for various hospitality applications, including drapery, upholstery, and structural textiles. Visitors were able to explore a wide range of fabric options—from plush velvets and luxurious boucles to shimmering metallics—demonstrating Carnegie’s diverse offerings for creating memorable and healthy hotel environments. Visitors also looked through new Biobased Xorel patterns, featured in Carnegie’s latest textile launch, the Conscious Collection.
“With our return to BDNY this year, we brought not only our cutting-edge product innovations but also showcased the heart of what Carnegie stands for—sustainability, artistry, and social impact,” said Dana Pucillo, Vice President of Acoustic Solutions at Carnegie. “The custom ArtLifting piece, new Xorel Artform products, drapery, upholstery, and structural textiles all highlight Carnegie’s unique design and manufacturing capabilities and reflect our commitment to delivering high-performance, sustainable design solutions for the hospitality market.”
