SILVIES, ORE.—The Retreat & Links at Silvies Valley Ranch announced the opening of its luxurious Rocking Heart Spa. Silvies, already known as a swank western destination with travel experiences ranging from gourmet tasting dinners to pistol shooting to the first reversible golf course in over 450 years, has now unveiled a new way to relax in the quiet and tranquility of Oregon’s eastern Frontier. Designed for those looking for an extraordinary luxury spa, the Rocking Heart Spa indulges guests with downhome western ranch service and top of the line amenities.

Silvies Valley Ranch, with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental revitalization, features organic spa products that incorporate plants native to the Oregon desert region. Spa visitors will be able to enjoy these specialty products through aromatherapy treatments, as well as massages, facials, manicures and pedicures.

“Opening a spa is something you just don’t see every day on a real cattle and goat ranch—all the cows and does were quite surprised, but are looking forward to their treatments!” joked ranch owner Sandy Campbell. “We try to provide each of our guests with an unforgettable experience that is uniquely Frontier Oregon—in fact, we only built 34 guestrooms so we could do just that.”

The Rocking Heart Spa is a brand new 17,000 square-foot facility that sits on the north end of the Ranch with a southern view over 10 miles of Silvies Valley’s high mountain meadows. This luxurious spa features single and couples massage treatment rooms, a special manicure/pedicure salon, steam saunas, jacuzzi tubs, a half-Olympic length lap pool, the latest in fitness equipment, an indoor rock-climbing wall and quiet room complete with a stone fireplace. In addition, guests at the boutique eco-resort can also enjoy a plethora of winter activities, including snowshoeing, ice fishing, Clydesdale sleigh rides, cross country skiing, and a new game of golf: Cool Golf.
