CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA.—The fourth annual Virginia Green Travel Conference will be held February 16 to 17 at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business Conference Center. The event includes a Green Travel Star Awards Celebration.
Day one of the conference will include a Green Tourism Business Expo, Technical Workshops, and conference reception. Workshop topics will include: Green Team Leadership Training, Green Travel Packages & Marketing Opportunities, Taking Green Tourism Local, the New Virginia Green Travel Certification, Taking Green Practices to the Next Level, and The Green Expectations of Millennials.
Conference attendees will also have an opportunity to take a guided tour of University of Virginia facilities.
Day two of the conference will include the Virginia Green Travel Awards & Luncheon, a panel on Green Tourism Achievements, and a State of Virginia Green Travel report.
