Electrolux Professional Introduces New Generation of Dryers

INWOOD, N.Y.—Electrolux’s new dryers are designed to cut time in the cleaning and drying process while still achieving the best results. The three new high tech Electrolux T5000-series dryers are available in 35, 67, and 83 pound capacities. The drying time is being shortened by 10 minutes on average, compared to previous generations of similar models, while at the same time cutting the energy consumption by up to 20 percent. NSF Qualifies First Wallcoverings Distributor to New Standard

Doubletree Tarrytown Selects American DG as Energy Provider

WALTHAM, MASS.—American DG Energy Inc., a leading on site utility, offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to hospitality, has reached an agreement to supply clean energy to the Doubletree Hotel Tarrytown, located in Tarrytown, N.Y. Under the terms of the agreement, the Doubletree will soon receive a significant portion of its energy from a 100 kW combined heat and power (CHP) system, which will be owned and operated by American DG Energy. Facility Managers Surveyed About Waterless Systems

VISTA, CALIF.—A survey conducted in late October 2011 asked facility managers a variety of questions regarding no-water or waterless urinal systems. Forty-two managers who have waterless urinals installed in their buildings completed the survey. Most manage office buildings, while the others are responsible for universities and colleges. The majority of the respondents (57 percent) indicated they have 10 or fewer no-water urinal systems; this was followed by managers with 10 to 50 systems (29 percent), and 14 percent responded that they have more than 100 waterless systems installed in their facilities.
