NEW YORK—MCOMS, acknowledging the recent COVID-19 challenges that have come to shape again the hospitality industry, has designed some innovative solutions to enable hoteliers to provide tailor made guest interactive services to mobile devices, and communicate directly with their guests.
With the recent Corona virus global outbreak, the public has become increasingly concerned with public health, hotel room cleanliness and sanitation. Through MCOMS’ HOTstream Mobile solution, guests have access to multiple features and services, eliminating the need to contact the hotel staff directly.
Features of the solution include the ability to make reservations to hotel facilities, restaurants, spa or golf, order in-room dining, service requests as well as view bill and express checkout.
More than 50 integrations with different systems are already implemented by MCOMS and many more are currently under development so that the hotel can utilize every hotel system available.
TV Remote App Available
HOTstream Mobile also offers a TV remote app so that guests can control the in-room TV without touching the remote, live TV channels with EPG and video on demand movies. The Mobile app comes with a Jason/Rest API so it can be integrated with any hotel app.
In addition, through the app guests can now access the full digital compendium and all hotel directories available on the mobile or the in-room TV.
Finally, it is no secret TV remote controls can also play host to a number of cold viruses and other germs. MCOMS announced that is launching a new RCU with an antimicrobial surface that is designed to exterminate most viruses and bacteria and allows for easy disinfection, offering an extra layer of protection for guests. Novelty antimicrobial RCU by MCOMS shields guests from viruses.
