BLOOMINGTON, IND.—The Ashkin Group, LLC, a consultant firm leading the effort to “green” the cleaning and maintenance industry, announced that it has added two communications experts to help expand its green cleaning industry awareness and training activities.

David Holly, a video and multimedia production expert, will oversee the development and implementation of all new technology solutions for the firm. He brings an unusual mix of both cleaning industry and cutting-edge media experience to the firm’s online training and outreach. His past experience includes: director of sales and marketing for S.C. Johnson Professional, and marketing director for Multi-Clean.

Holly has partnered with The Ashkin Group in the creation of Green Cleaning University (GCU), a soon-to-be-unveiled, professional development tool and resource of information about green cleaning and healthy building maintenance. In addition to his role at The Ashkin Group, Holly will continue to preside over his own multimedia production company, Don’t Panic Productions.

Gisele McAuliffe, a communications professional who specializes in cause-related public relations for socially responsible organizations, will plan and direct The Ashkin Group’s communications activities. She has 26 years of experience in journalism and public advocacy at all levels both in the United States and overseas. McAuliffe’s past experience includes producing and reporting for CNN, United Press International Radio, Voice of Germany, and Radio France International. Additionally, she has directed communications for the American Red Cross disaster services, The World Wildlife Fund’s international climate change campaign and The Wilderness Society.

“These two new members of The Ashkin Group provide a tremendous boost to our efforts to expand awareness of the many benefits of green cleaning across the entire cleaning industry and around the world,” Stephen Ashkin, president of The Ashkin Group said. “They will ensure that we employ the most innovative tools and techniques for introducing green cleaning programs to the green community including building owners, governments, labor unions, product manufacturers, jansan distributors, cleaning contractors and beyond.”
