SEATTLE—Hotel Theodore, the next addition to Provenance Hotels’ award-winning collection of art-filled, independent lifestyle hotels, is now open and taking reservations for stays in Seattle.

The 153-room hotel located at the intersection of Pine and 7th Streets in the heart of downtown pays tribute to the Seattle innovators, past and present, whose ideas revolutionized daily life in ways both big and small with a collection of photography, patent drawings and artifacts curated in collaboration with the city’s Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI). Playful amenities and thoughtful programming at Hotel Theodore also reflect attention to the needs and desires of today’s travelers and deliver only-in-Seattle experiences designed to satisfy them. Seattle is famous for rainy winters. With that in mind, the hotel’s 14 suites are stocked with his-and-hers’ rain jackets designed and manufactured in Seattle by Freeman and available for guests to borrow during their stay and purchase to take home. In addition, guests of Hotel Theodore can skip the lines that are sure to form at Seattle’s soon-to-open outpost of a Pacific Northwest favorite, Salt & Straw, and order pints of locally-made flavors delivered right to their rooms.

Hotel Theodore’s second floor features a gym and 3,200 sq. ft. of meeting space. The ground floor boasts an additional 1,200 sq. ft. of flexible space in the atrium and is home to Rider, a restaurant that celebrates two of the region’s most defining characteristics: the forest and the ocean. Here, the bounty of the sea meets the transformative power of an open woodfired grill. At Rider, guests savor the freshest seafood straight from the water courtesy of relationships with sustainable local fishermen and dry aged meats sourced from farms across the state, artisan cheeses provided by local dairies, and seasonal Pacific Northwest vegetables from local farmers and sustainable foragers.

Hotel Theodore features Provenance Hotels’ sublimely indulgent sleep experience which includes Primi Sera alternative down comforters, Mascioni linens and duvet covers made of 100 percent Supima cotton percale, Beautyrest pillowtop mattresses, and an EnduroTech environmentally responsible foundation. Guests will rest well with a combination of duck down and foam pillows on every bed, or select from Provenance Hotels’ luxurious pillow menu, and wake up in style with in-room Tivoli clock radios and Nespresso machines. The hotel will also feature Provenance Hotels’ signature spiritual menu from which guests can order their preferred book of faith, eco-friendly bath products from LATHER, and guestroom honor bars stocked with locally-made snacks, wines, craft beers and spirits distilled in the Emerald City.
