FOSTORIA, OHIO—Roppe Corporation, an American leader in commercial resilient flooring with over 70 years of manufacturing expertise, has introduced PixelArt Minimalist Collection, the only printed and coated rubber flooring in the world that is completely free of Red List Chemicals.
The launch provides a flooring solution the industry has never seen as digitally printed rubber flooring has always required a coating system to protect the print, and every coating system on the market contained harmful Red List Chemicals. Manufacturers were left choosing between aesthetics and material transparency. Roppe’s proprietary DiamondShield Pro coating eliminates that trade-off: a flexible finish that bonds permanently to rubber and UV-cured inks without cracking or peeling under load, while keeping the entire product system free of PVC, PFAS/PFOA, phthalates, heavy metals, and toxic solvents.
The result is a rubber floor that provides the same reliable performance yet looks like something else entirely. PixelArt Minimalist Collection’s 21 colorways—from deep charcoals and earth tones to cool blues and soft neutrals—deliver the visual warmth and textile-like depth of carpet tile, paired with the moisture resistance, durability, and low-maintenance performance vulcanized rubber is known for. Each 50cm tile is digitally printed with 100 percent solids, LED UV-cured inks directly onto homogeneous rubber, with no separate design layer. In addition, every color in the collection coordinates seamlessly with Roppe’s wall base, stair treads, and accessory palettes, simplifying specification and ensuring visual harmony from floor to wall across an entire project.
PixelArt’s material health story is backed by third-party verification, including GreenGuard Gold, FloorScore, and NSF/ANSI 332 Level 1 certification, and supporting both LEED v4/v5 Material Ingredients credits and WELL Building Standard Enhanced Material Safety requirements. The collection is also recyclable through Roppe’s IMPACT Program, giving specifiers a documented path for end-of-life diversion.
Specifiers Can Carry a Single Palette from Floor to Wall
Design-wise, every colorway in the collection is built to coordinate with Roppe’s wall base, stair tread, and accessory lines, so specifiers can carry a single palette from floor to wall without hunting for coordinating finishes across product lines.
The Minimalist Collection speaks the language of intentional design across every commercial environment where clarity, calm, enduring quality, and environmental responsibility define success: healthcare facilities where serene palettes reduce visual stress and non-porous surfaces support hygiene standards; educational institutions where responsibly formulated products protect students and educators; corporate and government offices where sophisticated design supports ESG commitments and green building compliance; and hospitality and retail environments where premium aesthetics meet exceptional wear resistance.
“PixelArt Minimalist Collection represents everything Roppe stands for: American manufacturing excellence, material health leadership, and the pursuit of innovation,” said Brian Dubois, VP of Sales and Marketing, Roppe Holding Company. “For decades, printed rubber flooring with complete material health transparency was considered impossible. PixelArt proves otherwise.”
PixelArt Minimalist Collection is manufactured in Fostoria, Ohio, and carries a 20-Year Limited Commercial Warranty. For product specifications, material health documentation, and sample requests, visit roppe.com or contact your local Roppe representative.
