COMMERCE, CALIF.—With the addition of a new 4-inch fixture, Nora Lighting now offers a complete line-up of LED retrofit recessed downlights for new construction, remodels or retrofits. Known as the Diamond Series, the fixtures include 4-inch (10W), 5-inch (12W) and 6-inch (12W) models. The Series is Energy Star-rated and offers up to 50,000 hours of performance. The 5-inch and 6-inch fixtures are backed by a seven-year Nora limited warranty. The 4-inch model has a five-year Nora warranty.

The downlights can be installed in existing Nora (or other manufacturer) housings and present an energy-efficient LED alternative to incandescent light sources. All models are cULus-rated for existing IC and non-IC housings. The retrofit fixtures can be utilized in housings with medium base and GU-24 sockets; they are also hardwired adaptable and dimmable to 5 percent.

Nora downlights have been tested in accordance with LM79 and LM80 standards and are CA Title-24-compliant for rebate savings and LEED points.

Warm Color Temperatures

The new 4-inch LED has a deep set 2-inch lens producing even diffusion of light. It offers 530 lumen output (a true 50-watt incandescent replacement) with warm white color temperatures of 2700K or 3000K and cooler 4000K (91 CRI).

All Nora Diamond Series LED retrofits are offered in reflector or baffle models with finishes that include bronze, natural aluminum, haze, copper, chrome (clear), specular black and white.

The Diamond Series is the latest addition to Nora Lighting’s expanding line of LED products, which now includes LED Track and Rail Fixtures, LED Linear Lightbars, LED Puck Lights, LED High-Output and RGB Tape Lights, and LED Emergency and Exit signs.

Along with LED fixtures, Nora manufactures incandescent, fluorescent and HID sources in track and rail systems, recessed lighting, multiple lighting systems, under cabinet and an expanding series of accent lights, including pendants and sconces.
