COMMERCE, CALIF.—Nora Lighting’s new tunable white Theia is a can-less, commercial-grade LED downlight that features an integral CCT switch on the junction box to field select color temperature for a warm or cool ambiance. Temperatures include (warm to cool): 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K.
Theia does not require a housing and the pre-wired junction box and quick connect allow faster installations in new construction or remodel applications. The fixture is particularly well-suited for multi-family residences or shallow plenums.
The luminaire is IC Air-Tight rated and is available in three sizes and three outputs: 4” (950lm); 6” (1400lm); and 8” (2100lm). Theia has a deep regressed reflector to minimize aperture glare and is available in matte powder white finish. Triac or ELV dimming are offered and the fixture is Energy Star certified, cETLus listed for wet locations and can be used to comply with 2019 Title 24 Part 6 high efficacy requirements.
