HIGH POINT, N.C.—Hightower, the family-founded, women-led furniture manufacturer known for its thoughtful, human-centered and design-forward approach to commercial interiors, has announced Haworth as a strategic investor. The company will continue to operate independently with its current leadership: Natalie Hartkopf is CEO and Co-Owner and Jenna Geigerman is President and COO. Hightower will continue as an open-line manufacturer.
“From the beginning, we built Hightower around a simple idea that design is thoughtful, human and responsible. Haworth shares this belief,” Hartkopf noted. “Our dealer and design partners will see the same Hightower they know and love, with even more momentum.”
This investment pairs two family-owned companies with a shared vision and values. It underscores Haworth’s ongoing commitment to brand stewardship and accelerating Hightower’s growth.
For more than two decades, Hightower has built a curated house of brands without losing its independent point of view. Anchored by its in-house brand, Hightower Studio, and rounded out by long-term partnerships with +Halle, Ocee & Four Design, and Ondarreta, the company has earned a reputation for design leadership.
“We look for partners that think long term, not in quarters,” said Franco Bianchi, President and CEO of Haworth. “Hightower has built a clear strategy, created beautiful products and is genuinely committed to people and planet. This investment gives our customers added choice and is an opportunity to leverage the excellent work Hightower is doing today.”
