Many business owners and managers are well aware of the problems caused by hard water—from clogged pipes and iron stains to spotty glassware and inferior drinking water. What they’re not always aware of, however, is the impact of hard water on energy use and the associated costs.

U.K. Agents Fielding More Questions Pertaining to Environmental Impact
MADRID, SPAIN—Around a quarter of both business (25.6 percent) and leisure (26.5 percent) travel agents are fielding an increased number of questions from their clients relating to the environmental impact their travel plans are likely to have.
