NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO—Moen’s Commercial Division announces M•Press, a new line of metering faucets that provide durability and energy cost savings. Moen’s exclusive sealed silicon metering mechanism found in the new M•Press faucets provides consistent water flow with accurate timing and proper shut-off every time, while providing protection against impurities and clogs in the waterway. In addition, the M•Press metering cartridge uses an internal pressure-balancing spool, so varying water pressures will not affect the performance of the faucet—whether it’s on the first floor or the penthouse suite.

Moen’s new metering faucets feature an adjustable timing cycle that ranges from 10 to 60 seconds, automatically shutting the water off after each use. This timing mechanism reduces water usage and helps to prevent possible flooding.
Water Savings Up to 30 Percent
M•Press metering faucets can reduce water usage by up to 30 percent compared to standard commercial faucets. Installing the new M•Press metering faucets can contribute toward a building’s eligibility for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, earning the building up to two points in the Water Use Reduction category.
These new metering faucets offer a variety of mounting applications, including single mount, four-inch centerset and eight-inch widespread. All M•Press faucets are fully ADA-compliant, ensuring accessibility in every application, and feature water-saving, vandal-resistant 0.5 gpm (gallons per minute) aerators, solid brass construction and a chrome finish that resists harsh industrial cleaners.
Moen’s 8200 series of heavy duty faucets can now be converted from a manual style faucet to a metering faucet with a quick change of the handle and cartridge from above the deck, offering the maximum flexibility to commercial facilities.
