ST. JOSEPH, MICH.—Maytag Commercial Laundry has unveiled its new industrial line of soft-mount washer/extractors. Available in 180-, 230- and 275-pound models, the washer/extractors are designed to help industrial launderers meet the most demanding requests for large hotels and linen-service laundry operations.
“With our new, larger capacity washer-extractors, we now better meet the industrial commercial laundry market’s needs,” said Bob English, general manager at Maytag Commercial Laundry. “Engineered with the latest technologies, our Maytag soft-mount washers offer dependability, utility savings and a suspension system that allows for easy installation.”
The washers’ high-spin speed extractors remove more water, therefore reducing dry time and utility expenses. With specially designed spray baffles and tumble patterns, the Maytag TurboWash System provides more cleaning power, while conserving water, cutting costs and maximizing profits.
The external chemical injection system eliminates the need to add detergent manually, reducing detergent and labor costs, energy and water consumption and chemical overuse. With 15 pre-programmed cycles, 30 industry-specific cycles and the option to program multiple unique cycles, users can control every phase of the wash process. The simple set, one-touch cycle selection, easy-to-read graphical display and multilingual readouts make the controls easy for all users.
The industrial-strength stainless-steel cabinet, door hinge, handle and door lock combine with an extra-large door that makes loading and unloading easy. Some models are equipped with a pneumatic tilting platform allowing up to a 15-degree forward tilting angle. In addition, all models come standard with viton seals, rear drain connections, direct-steam heat and a five-compartment soap box.
