ATLANTA—Master-Bilt, manufacturer of a full line of premier commercial refrigeration systems for almost 70 years, will unveil their BSD Series, a new line of self-contained bottom mount solid door reach-in refrigerators and freezers, at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) show October 11-13, 2007 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, booth #1423.

The BSD series consists of six models that offer increased capacities of 24, 52, and 80 cubic feet over Master-Bilt’s previous bottom mount reach-ins. They come equipped with reversible door swing, and are Energy Star and California Energy Commission certified. All of the BSD Series refrigerators and freezers feature an electronic controller with a digital thermometer and alarm function.

All BSD models are constructed of stainless steel on front, sides and doors, as well as the interior liner and door panel. Rounded corners give an elegant look and provide less chance of injury from sharp corners in slip and fall accidents. Additionally, all models have three adjustable, heavy-duty epoxy-coated wire shelves per door and two-inch-thick, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulated walls.

“The BSD series combines elegance with durability, creating a stainless steel solid-door reach-in with greater capacity and storage possibilities for busy foodservice areas,” says Bill Huffman, vice president of sales and marketing for Master-Bilt.
