ATLANTA—LG Hausys’ HI-MACS solid surface brand is introducing its new Wood Collection and adding four new colors to its Aurora Collection. Reflecting nature-inspired patterns and hues, the new colors can meet a variety of commercial interior design needs where calm and serenity is needed.
As its name implies, the Wood Collection is a tribute to the timeless beauty of natural wood. The collection is unique in its ability to display intricate, realistic wood grain patterns and knots. Ideal for healthcare and other commercial spaces, its warm undertones and gentle essence intuitively brings a sense of calm and restoration. As a non-porous surface, it also offers maintenance, cost-savings, and hygienic advantages over real wood.
Crème Oak marries neutral Scandinavian colors with warm Japanese-inspired hues, creating the harmonious Japandi movement. Its light wood tones and subtle texture reveal a bright, natural, and breezy essence. The unique beauty of gray hardwood comes alive through Gray Teak. Its contemporary tone, accented by the look of teak’s familiar weathered texture, creates multiple transitional looks, including those that play well within commercial industrial settings. Dark Walnut’s gentle wood grain patterns are infused with rich, dark wood tones that generate a feeling of warmth and depth. Elegant and rich, Dark Walnut is ideal for contemporary interiors.
Inspired by Nature
The Aurora Collection, inspired by the Aurora Borealis (aka The Northern Lights), embodies a low-contrast, organic swirling movement throughout its designs. Aurora Ecru features soft, elegant neutrals and hushed tonal veins, creating a relaxed and contemporary flair. Aurora Frost, with faint veins of white that flash across a pale base, are reminiscent of a gentle snowfall, bringing a sense of calm and serenity. Aurora Midnight’s marbled veins cut across a soft black backdrop, evoking a still midnight sky and endless design opportunities. Aurora Ocean Gray reflects the serenity of the ocean. With its rich, subdued shades and its slight waves of darker grays, it can effortlessly serve as a tranquil backdrop or a central color scheme to any interior. The four new colors bring to nine the total colors available through the Aurora Collection.
