LOS ANGELES—In celebration of Earth Day, recognized globally by over a billion people in 192 countries, Kind Traveler is proud to announce the expansion of its Every Stay Gives Back (ESGB) Program with 20 new hotels and 16 new charity partnerships representing 16 new destinations worldwide. This milestone strengthens Kind Traveler’s mission to transform travel into a force for kindness, creating measurable, positive impact in local communities and ecosystems while inspiring travelers to make every trip count.

With newly onboarded partners in Patagonia, Chile; Maui, Hawaii; Palermo, Italy; Victoria, Canada; Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.; Cannonville, Utah; and nine additional destinations across California in partnership with Visit California, Kind Traveler is ensuring that giving back to local community and environmental causes is woven into the heart of every journey. Since its launch in September 2023, ESGB has raised nearly $500,000 for local charities, proving the power of conscious travel.

Integrates Charitable Giving into the Travel Experience

Every Stay Gives Back is a pioneering, women-and-veteran-owned impact program that seamlessly integrates charitable giving into the travel experience. With every stay at a participating hotel—regardless of booking method—a portion of the revenue is directed toward vetted local charities supporting critical causes such as wildlife conservation, food security, disaster relief, environmental restoration, and more.

Every dollar is measured and shared with guests through traveler-friendly impact dashboards; guests can track how their stay directly contributes to these causes—ensuring transparency, fostering connection and education, and inspiring travelers to leave a positive footprint by encouraging additional ways to travel kindly.

Some of the measurable impact metrics found through live impact dashboards include:

  • 91,652 servings of locally grown produce shared by Farm to Pantry with marginalized communities in Sonoma County
  • 1,932 students served with educational art supplies with La Playa Centro Comunitario in Los Cabos
  • 458 native seabirds rehabilitated by Wildlife Center of the North Coast on the Oregon Coast
  • 633 homeless dogs rescued & cared for with SAGA Humane Society in Belize
