LAS VEGAS—Interface Hospitality, part of Interface, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of modular carpet and a worldwide leader in the design and production of modular flooring products, showcased its custom process for innovative design services in the hospitality industry at this year’s HD Expo. The event was held last week in Las Vegas.
Interface Hospitality has a holistic approach to flooring, which positively shapes the guest experience, delivers value to hotel owners and enables its customers to achieve their design intent.
“Our hope is to show people how we engage with a hotel brand and give them a full understanding of how Interface Hospitality can bring a design vision to life,” said Charley Knight, Vice President of Interface Hospitality. “Our custom process and capabilities allow for a truly collaborative partnership that results in a beautiful product for hotel settings, whether in guestrooms, corridors or public spaces.”
The company’s booth at HD Expo was set up as a dynamic, working studio, complete with a collaborative design space in the center, where Interface Hospitality brought its partnership process to life. Custom projects were showcased visually, and its development process was shared by Charley Knight, Vice President of Interface Hospitality, and Kari Pei, Global Product Designer for Interface Hospitality.
The custom process at Interface Hospitality starts with design inputs and inspiration from customers. Using a “designer to designer” approach, Interface Hospitality develops custom patterns for composed and integrated floors, leading to a completely customized project.
