Inaugural HD Americas Set for Miami Beach in September

ALPHARETTA, GA.—Following a successful HD Expo in Las Vegas in May at new home Mandalay Bay, the Hospitality Design Group announces a fresh new lineup for the first-ever HD Americas. Taking place in Florida, the show will run on September 24 and September 25 at the 60,000-square-foot Miami Beach Convention Center. The show will be the merging of talents including designers, architects, owners, operators and developers from around the globe. Taking place in the city that is the gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, the show will put a special emphasis on this emerging market, highlighting the successes of exhibitors, panelists and attendees from Central America, South America and beyond.
 
Brands including PoLArt, Ciel Illuminazione, Loloi Rugs, Tableaux, TUCCI and others will showcase products ranging from fabrics and textiles, furniture, accessories, lighting fixtures, flooring, artwork, bath fixtures, window treatment and more. Aside from the lineup of influential exhibitors and leaders in the hospitality design industry, top individuals from the restaurant, healthcare, hotel, casino and spa communities will comprise the more than 3,500 attendees who will come together for a series of panel discussions, open forums and workshops at the show.
 
Carlos Couturier and Moises Micha, founders and managing partners of lifestyle hotel company Grupo Habita will headline the conference this year. Participating in a conversation with Hospitality Design magazine’s editor in chief Michael Adams, subjects will include their unique concepts in the competitive Mexican hotel market, recent arrival in New York City and unique connection to the hostel business.

The Party by the Palms, sponsored by Modern Line, Senova and others takes place on Tuesday, September 24 at W South Beach. Additionally, HD/NEWH site visit opportunities will be offered to experience the Lord Balfour South Beach; Gale South Beach; and The James Royal Palm on September 24 and 25, respectively.

Owners, developers, brand executives and others will share their insider experiences of developing projects in the Latin American market on Wednesday, September 25. Leaders from Hard Rock International; Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC; Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts; Trump Hotel Collection and others will participate.
